LP6 : The song “Jesus Walk With Me” stands out for me, for its simplicity and beauty. Why did you pick that song as the opening track?
Johan : I think that’s the most important song on the album for us. That was sort of the song that got us started with the album. We just knew we wanted to do a more guitar based album. A more acoustic sounding album than our previous one. Also, I think the whole theme of it, with death and so on, and religious types of things. I mean I’ve always wanted to be religious, but I can’t be, because I don’t believe in anything unfortunately. That’s sort of the theme on the album. It struck a new tone, a new lyrical tone for us.
