I barely survived The Travelling Band14-hour day drinking binges. Passing out in a pile of four Brits in my Bed. Playing music constantly. Playing music Live four times in four days. Five if you count the little folksinger circle in the back garden at Mykonos. Recording two different Sessions within that five day period. I got to spend time with one of my favorite bands, which includes four of my favorite Songwriters.
Truth be told I don’t remember most of it.
The Barbecue was one of the most pleasant (if not greatest) days of my life. Those of you who know my predilection for hyperbole will probably snicker. But you also know what I mean.
And inevitably there’s the Crash when they leave. I remember this from last Year. But it’s not so bad this time– Adam may be moving here and Eric and I are scrambling to save money so we (along with whoever else in the last rounders) can go play music and record music with the boys in their Home City (Manchester).
